Description
Vehicles with automatic transmissions are typically equipped with a Transmission Control Unit (TCU), which manages all aspects of the transmission’s operation, such as gear shifts and torque limitations. The TCU communicates seamlessly with the Engine Control Unit (ECU) by exchanging real-time data across the vehicle’s network system. For optimal performance and drivability, it is often recommended to remap both the ECU and TCU simultaneously. This ensures that the two control units remain perfectly synchronized and continue to operate in harmony.
